Overview of the UPSC Syllabus Without beating much around the bush let me get straight to the point. The UPSC exam is a 3-phase affair: Phase 1 is the UPSC Preliminary Examination, also called UPSC Prelims. This exam contains questions of the objective type.   The  official  UPSC notification 2021 was released by the  Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  on the 4 th  of March 2021. You can also check the notification on  UPSC ’ s official website  as well.    According to the official notification, the  2021 Civil services recruitment process will fill up 712 civil servant posts .
