Overview of the UPSC Syllabus Without beating much around the bush let me get straight to the point. The UPSC exam is a 3-phase affair: Phase 1 is the UPSC Preliminary Examination, also called UPSC Prelims. This exam contains questions of the objective type.   UPSC Prelims Syllabus Starting off with the UPSC Prelims syllabus, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you if I say that the syllabus is pretty vast in its own right. However, the  UPSC Prelims examination  is basically conducted for the purpose of  screening only.  Thus if you clear the Prelims exam, you will be eligible for the Mains exam. Before we continue any further, I would like to bring to your attention that the  UPSC admit card  for the  2021 Mains exam, which is going to be held from 7th January 2022 onwards , will be out on the  UPSC’s official website .   The UPSC admit cards are  electronic in nature . UPSC Exam Dates 2021

  The  official  UPSC notification 2021 was released by the  Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  on the 4 th  of March 2021. You can also check the notification on  UPSC ’ s official website  as well.    According to the official notification, the  2021 Civil services recruitment process will fill up 712 civil servant posts . Also written in the UPSC notification 2021 is that the  prelims of the CSE 2021 were scheduled to be conducted on the 27 th  of June 2021 .  But due to the second wave of COVID-19, it got postponed to 10 th  October 2021.   You should also note that the  2021 UPSC  exam dates for the CSE Mains are 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16 January 2022.   The release date of the UPSC notification 2021, i.e., the  4 th  of March 2021  was  the  start date  for the  online registration process  for the UPSC exam 2021.
